This course is designed to help you understand some of the thought process behind getting a client to lose less performance during an injury and so recover quicker after an injury.
These two days are not easy to get through:although they are mainly practical, your brain will be working even harder. We take you through a thought process, by laying the ground work for a movement knowledge that will leave you unmatched in the industry.
Your ability to create motion in one area, while preventing motion in another, is the most important skill you can have when working with a diagnosed injury. To do this you need to be able to create any motion you want at any joint and know that you have achieved what you wanted at that joint without allowing a motion at the injured joint, nor asking your client to consciously create the movement.
This course goes through the following:
-The foundations of the faster thought process
-Hip motions
-Hip effects on the lumbar and knee (with injury examples)
-Foot and Ankle motions
-Foot and Ankle motions effects on the knee (with injury examples)
-Thoracic motions
-Thoracic motions effects on the knee (with injury examples)
-Progressing Exercises
